With over 13 years of experience, Alice represent novelists, both literary and commercial, and is always on the look-out for debut writers. Whether Adult, Young Adult, or Middle Grade, she is especially interested in fiction that combines strong writing, voice, and character with a great plot. She is also drawn to smart, off-beat non-fiction, particularly works of narrative non-fiction on biography, music, and pop-culture. She works very closely with her authors – from editing manuscripts and refining proposals, to amassing the perfect list of editors for the project, to actively helping her authors secure endorsements. She has even been known to get into the publicity/marketing mix.
Alice graduated from Brown University and has an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. She is a member of the Association of Authors' Representatives.
Submission Guidelines
Alice only accepts e-mail queries and/or a one page letter, describing your book, your bio and any relevant publishing history. She will try to respond to all email queries but due to the volume she receives this may not always be possible.
