Ben Roy is a publishing professional who joined JVLNA in late 2024. His publishing experience includes internships at Writers House and Harvard University Press. At Writers House, he supported the desk of senior agent Alec Shane, evaluating manuscript submissions and assisting with editorial and pitch letters. At Harvard University Press, Ben proofread and line-edited draft translation manuscripts of Medieval Greek, Latin, and Old English texts.

An avid reader, Ben is especially drawn to books in translation, historical fiction, and memoirs that explore themes of identity and transformation. He is also an avid rock climber, and enjoys books about the great outdoors. He strives to bring both precision and creativity to every project, and his work reflects a passion for amplifying diverse voices and connecting readers with meaningful stories. A Harvard University graduate with a B.A. in Classics, he has cultivated a deep appreciation for storytelling and a meticulous approach to content.
